We are seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. The approximate work load is about 32 - 40 hours per week depending on need. Long-term career opportunities with Blooming are available and encouraged.
Duties

Assist with the design and planning of landscapes, including plant selection, layout, and hardscape elements

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences

Conduct thorough site analyses to inform design

Create detailed drawings and renderings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Land F/X or other landscape design software. Blooming will provide the software.

Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction

Provide expertise in landscape maintenance practices and sustainable design principles

Collaborate with management team to ensure timely completion of designs.

Prepare construction estimates and assist in the bidding process.

Oversee and manage (along with the Operations Manager) the installation of landscape design plans.

Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the design and installation process.

Utilize project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously

Incorporate sales techniques to upsell additional services or products
Required Skills
-
Degree in landscape architecture or landscape design is preferred.

Proficiency in landscape design principles and techniques
-
Some working knowledge of design software like AutoCAD, Land F/X or Adobe Creative Suite or other suitable landscape design software.

Experience in project management within the landscaping industry

Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively

Knowledge of garden design, plant materials, and irrigation systems

Familiarity with hardscape materials and construction methods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE with job advancement opportunities
Expected hours: 32-40 hours per week
